My Steed: Trek 2300 (of course the highly modified Italian stallion version)

Why I started biking: To cross train for running. I was on the cross country team at Lake Wier High at the time and was looking for something else to do besides run for training. It was a lot of fun and soon became my main hobby.

Favorite bike ride: When its just myself and one or two friends, about 80 degrees, and I don't have anything else to do besides go for a nice long ride.

Greatest accomplishment: MVP for the cross country and track team at my high school, and of course coming a few seconds away from breaking the school record for a 5k run...yeah!

Strangest bike setup ever seen: I work at a bike shop and we get some pretty weird ones in for service. I don't think it is possible to think of one in particular...there is too many! Although one that I can remember is a guy that custom made a 20" kids bike into an adult size three-wheeler for himself. It was equipped with MTB bar ends (you know for hammering up the climbs) and this huge gel seat, (for time trialing to the grocery store).

Dream Bike: Either the 2007 TCR advanced frameset with integrated aero seat post (one piece carbon frame and seat post), or the Specialized Tarmac SL, with the new SRAM Force group, Zipp 303 wheels,  and my comfy SLK saddle. I can see it now...leaning against my truck with a hot supermodel posing next to it...the wind blowing her hair...

Highest recorded 'on-bike' speed/location: 52 mph-riding down the famous 'sugarloaf mountain' in Clermont. That is when Josh passed me at like 55!
