Why I started biking: I didn’t have a car in college, and my bike was my only transportation. Enjoyed it so much that during summer break I rode from Ohio to Maine (1600 miles) one year; next year rode 1100 miles to Boston (all self contained, cycle camping). Met my wife Leslie in the Ohio State Cycling Club, and have biked ever since.
Favorite bike ride: Winter Park, CO Mountain Bike Race Series – a 20 mile point to point off road race
