Team Meeting recap...

Sundays team meeting at the downtown square in Ocala turned out to be very informative. Nine of us were able to attend and introductions between those of us who hadn't met before were made.

We got right down to business and did a lot of talking about the Team Packet. The packet outlines a lot of very useful information for potential sponsors. It also contains the rider bios that each of us filled out. These packets are going to be very instrumental in our efforts to secure sponsorship for the upcoming season. We set a budget and a timeline for the completion of the packets and I can gladly report that we are on schedule and under budget. We plan on having the packets to all of you by the first of next week. In the meantime, you can study up on all the sponsorship information by going to the Team Packet PDF. This is just a screen resolution PDF and should not be printed. While you're perusing our Team Profile, you can also read about your new Cycle Logic teammates.

We then got down to talking about the Team Kit (jersey and shorts). We have a working design that's pretty close to final, all we need is some real sponsor logos to fill it up and we're set. In order for us to have our kits in by the time racing starts in February, we'll need to send off our design to be sublimated (printed) before Christmas. This means that we need to start pounding the pavement ASAP. Those of you who have some good leads with potential sponsors, don't hesitate to talk to them. Below is the "working design" for our Cycle Logic Kit.

All logos are for placement only and will be replaced with actual team sponsors prior to printing

We snapped a bunch of photos of each other, most of which can be seen in the team packet and lastly we tried on some cycling jerseys and shorts from the fit kit sent to us by Z bike wear. For those of you who were unable to attend sundays meeting, and were wanting to try on some sample clothing, the fit kit needed to be returned ASAP. One thing to remember when ordering time comes is that Z bike wear uses European sizing...so if you normally wear a Large jersey, chances are that you'll need an XL for our kit.

If you have questions about sizing, you can consult Z bike wear's website here -or- James has got a pretty good idea of the sizing after sifting through dozens of differnt articles of cycling-wear.

Feel free to leave a question, comment or concern and we'll talk to you all soon.
