Cycle Logic attended and assisted in the annual Eighth Street Elementary School Bicycle Rodeo March 19, 2007.
The annual bicycle rodeo is organized every year by the PTO members, and various local volunteers to teach the children basic bicycle safety. Statistics show that children ages 10-14 are most likely to be involved in bicycle accidents resulting in injury or death, so it is paramount that these children learn bicycle safety as early as possible.
Cycle-Logic members Josh Pittman and James Penrod (decked out in their best Orange and Grey) assisted the PTO volunteers with minor mechanical repairs, helmet adjustments, as well as demonstrating their bicycling skills through the agility course. Both Josh and James were received well by the children, who later asked “who where those guys, they were so cool!”.
