The Florida State Time Trial Championships were held this past weekend just east of Lake City. The course was flat, fast, with very little wind, and almost completely traffic-free. Cycle Logic Teammate Veronica Geist came out of the woodwork to show off her time trialing skills. With a time of 1:07:08 for the 40K course, she came in with a 4th place finish in the Women’s Category 4 field. WELCOME BACK BABY!!
James Penrod also raced, and when asked how he fared, he was quoted as saying “I didn’t get last place”. Further research through Floridacycling.com confirmed this to be a true statement.
