My Steed: Full Carbon Specialized S-Works Tarmac

Why I started biking: I’ve been biking all me life.  I found early on that I enjoyed the feeling of propelling my body by my own strength at amazing speeds, covering amazing distances.

Favorite bike ride: Definitely Blood, Sweat & Gears, a 100 mile ride which covers the mountainous area surrounding Boone, NC including many miles along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Greatest accomplishment: Keeping up with my girlfriend when she is on her time trial bike.

Strangest bike setup ever seen: A unicycle with no seat or seat post. I wanted to try it so bad, but I had to race the next day, and thought it wouldn't be a good idea.

Dream Bike: It changes every year, but it’s always something super light and super fast, probably made from the most exotic materials at the time.  This past year, I think It’s mostly been the Pinarello.

Highest recorded 'on-bike' speed/ location: 58 miles per hour descending Hogpen Gap, Dahlonega, GA
